Concept
The Pantry concept is a versatile community hub, offering a place for Mount Nebo and Mount Glorious residents to share and sell fresh produce, handcrafted items, and purchase emergency essentials and thoughtful gifts, enhancing community sustainability and connection.
The aim of the shop is to allow for self service with our state of the art point of sale system - just pick up a handheld mini barcode reader and scan your items at the tablet check out and pay using your card - just like you do at Coles or Woolies....
...but for now someone will be available to serve you.
Our Mission
The Pantry is a small slice of Mount Nebo dedicated to community sharing and support. Operated by local business Elysian2, and fueled by the produce and goods our residents bring in, we're a not-for-profit space where everyone can contribute and benefit.
Our aim? To keep it simple, keep it local, and keep it running on the sheer will to support one another. Here, you set the price, and we take a tiny slice (just 10%) to manage the essentials. Because in a community like ours, every little bit counts
